  Yesterday I had my first day at the University of Plymouth studying Digital Art & Technology. It was really good fun and very interesting at the university and having a look around campus for the first time, also meeting my course mates for the first time. First I went to a talk with the vice-chancellor of the university welcoming us to Plymouth with our faculty, then i when to a smaller with out school where a lady talk to us about how to use the library facilities. It was great! Then I also went to a talk about my course iDAT and meet the lecturers.

  I am currently designing the banners for the freshers fair for new students at Plymouth University.

  The banners are going to be on the same style as the main website and have the a theme running. There is going to be a big logo at the bottom and it will be very eye catching to it audience.

  I will then get them printed a VistaPrint at 120.9 x 76.2 cm Option to add clear adhesive hangers for easy hanging Printed on high-quality vinyl – choose indoor or outdoor durability

  We are no undertaking the complete regeneration of the Pigs Nose Inn website, that has changed and improved so much over the years. The new site is simple and more creative, improving how people see the pub online!

  Soon I should be moving to Plymouth, as i’m buying a house there. So that means that I will be able to work in Plymouth to help finance my degree. I’m really looking forward to it!
  It will be a change from living at home or at halls of residence. It also means I will be able to get work done instead of being distracted.

  The reason why i’m buying a house is because I think that buying is better then renting, as when you rent your throwing your money away, but if you buy your essentially making money on the property. Looks to me like a much better idea

  At the moment I am in the process of design a website for a society in Plymouth University called UP:LGBT they are a group of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual students at Plymouth uni giving support and advice to the local community.

  On there website they are looking for a place that informs people in the area news and events happening with the group. Also it will give advice to people e.g. advice on coming out of the closet.
  I’m also going to set up for them a community board so the members can communicate with each other, within the board there will also a facility for confidential conversation with the members for support.

  This website will be up and running hopefully by the end of the year.
